Privacy policy

1. Who we are

EVAME ("we", "us") is a software development company based in Auckland, New Zealand. This policy covers the website at evame.com only. It does not cover apps we publish; each app has its own privacy policy at the URL given in that app.

2. Information we collect

• Contact form: your name, email address, optional company name and the message you write. We use these only to reply to you.
• Spam check: the contact form uses Cloudflare Turnstile. Cloudflare receives the challenge token to confirm you are not a bot. We do not use that check for marketing.
• Cookies and analytics: when you accept the cookie notice we store a consent flag (evame-cookie-ok) in your browser and load Google Analytics (gtag.js, measurement ID G-ZNMCT5D2LK). Google may set cookies and process usage data on Google's servers, including outside New Zealand. Clearing site data in your browser removes the flag; reload without accepting and the tag is not loaded.

3. How we use your information

We use the information you send us to respond to enquiries. We do not sell, rent or trade your personal information, and we do not use it for marketing unless you ask us to.

4. Where your information goes

Contact form messages are delivered privately to our team email. If you accept the cookie notice, Google Analytics receives page-view and related usage data. No other third parties receive your data unless we need them to deliver a message (for example our email provider).

5. Retention

We keep enquiry emails only as long as needed to deal with your request and for reasonable business records. You can ask us to delete them at any time.

6. Your rights

Under the Privacy Act 2020 you may request access to, or correction or deletion of, personal information we hold about you. Email us and we will action it promptly.
